Printmaking

My printmaking practice is deeply rooted in the natural world, not just as subject matter, but as a source of rhythm, symbolism, and storytelling. I gravitate toward bold compositions that blend organic forms with cultural motifs, often using anthropomorphic figures and symbolic imagery to explore the relationship between nature and identity.

Stylistically, my work combines vibrant color palettes with strong line work and layered textures, drawing from both traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques. Nature influences my aesthetic choices, from the rugged contours of desert landscapes to the intricate patterns found in bones, plants, and animals. These elements serve as visual metaphors, allowing me to reflect on themes of transformation, resilience, and connection.

Rather than depicting nature in a literal sense, I use it as a lens through which to examine human experience. The result is a body of work that feels both grounded and imaginative, where the natural world is not just observed, but embodied.
